Had a great stay at Evelyn’s on a trip with friends! The airbnb was very close to the airport, within 15-20 mins of Old San Juan, and less than 10 from the beach! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to San Juan, Puertro Rico!
Evelyn was very responsive to my questions. This home is in a nice, safe neighborhood where you can experience the culture and are close to the airport and other places to go in San Juan.
Evelyn was a very responsive and friendly host. The house has pros and cons. Some of the cons could be resolved with maintenance. Pros: The house was roomy The spa was great and private. AC work great in each room. Closed to San Juan. Very comfortable beds with many pillows. Right next to the airport which if you are not a light sleeper it’s great. Each room had a bathroom. The fact that there was a bathroom in each room was great. My family felt secure because the house was fence in. Cons: The kitchen was not clean. Stove was greasy The floors were visibly dirty The house did not have good water pressure The photos made it look like you are closer to Old San Juan when in a reality you are in a neighborhood. The location was excellent & the accommodation for my entire family was exactly what we needed.
Awesome home in the perfect location. Very accommodating for a large group it was 11 of us and we had more than enough space.
A house that accommodated 12 girls for a 50th Birthday celebration. It was everything we needed.
The host, Evelyn, superb. She has thought of everything to make this home give you a cozy at home feeling. The converted garage until a little lounge space, the pool and spa.. all great. The host was responsive to all my questions and even accommodated holding bags prior to checking in. The photos are accurate but they are inside only. The neighbors are super awesome and this is the local experience we was looking for on this trip for my dads 60th.
I was kinda shocked because they say don’t judge a book by its cover, but I did anyways and I was left speechless. The house truly doesn’t blow you away upon first arrival, but then you start to walk in and checking out the house and it was just beautiful & spacious! Felt very welcomed from when I walked in and when I had minor issues (not even worth mentioning), they addressed them quickly. This will be the first place I check when I come back to PR for the third time!

The location is great. Very easy to get on the expressway and get downtown about 15 minutes away if little traffic and easy to get to other great spots on the east side of the island. Very safe and very clean. A HUGE bonus is being solar powered as Puerto Rico often loses power, but Evelyn’s place kept running smoothly. She is a super attentive host and responds quickly. We had a great stay. We were 3 couples (6 total). Perfect amount of space. I highly recommend.
We only stayed here for a short visit. The house was nice and accommodated our group.
Overall, we were very satisfied with Evelyn's home. Instructions to get to home and get in were easy and accurate, with pictures included that really helped. We just couldn't get in bc the inside screen door was locked from the inside. The house supervisor, Andrea, communicated before we got to the house and was quickly available to help with this issue as soon as I messaged her. The house was very spacious with plenty of room to comfortably accommodate 10 of us. There were constantly barking dogs in the early morning hours but that's nothing Evelyn can control. There isn't much right near the home but we did walk a few places. We used uber bc we didn't want to rent a car. It's a quick, accessible trip anywhere you want to go. We did not have enough towels/no wash cloths and the beach towels weren't available as we requested but Andrea addressed quickly. Evelyn checked in and also made sure we were all taken care of. Really enjoyed Villa Mia and can't wait to return to Puerto Rico!
Evelyn was a good host and very responsive when we had any questions or needed anything. The house was clean and comfortable for our large family. The location is great for access to beaches, Old San Juan and other sightseeing places.
